Buen Dia is understood for breakfast and brunch eats resembling chilaquiles, tacos and tortas.
The El Paso-based Buen Dia chain will open its first San Antonio location Monday, June 10, contained in the Pearl-area house that beforehand housed comfort-food spot Earl Abel’s.
In a Tuesday Fb put up, the corporate unveiled plans to open at 1639 Broadway, simply outdoors the Pearl complicated. The brand new restaurant will serve up Mexican-style breakfast and brunch eats together with chilaquiles, tacos and tortas together with cocktails and aguas frescas.
The previous Earl Abel’s house has sat vacant since April 2023, when the longtime Alamo Metropolis mainstay closed, citing lingering injury from the pandemic together with inflation and staffing woes.
When it opens, Buen Dia will function 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday via Friday and eight a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Subscribe to SA Present newsletters.
