NISD tutorial assistant Alfred “Mr. Fred” Jimenez died Saturday resulting from a blunt-force head harm sustained earlier this month throughout what district officers referred to as an “interplay” with a special-needs scholar on the campus gymnasium.
On Wednesday, the Bexar County Medical Examiner dominated Jimenez’s dying a murder. District officers have declined to share specifics concerning the incident with the press.
Jimenez’s colleague, NISD specialised instruction trainer Sheree Krusel, launched the GoFundMe Thursday, saying the Brandeis neighborhood mourns his dying.
“This tragic loss has shaken the neighborhood,” Krusel wrote on the web page. “His passing is felt by each scholar, dad or mum, trainer, colleague and the numerous mates that Fred made along with his mere presence.”
To this point, Krusel has solely raised just a little over 10% of her $10,000 aim. Funds not used for funeral bills will go to establishing a memorial scholarship in Jimenez’s reminiscence, the GoFundMe states.
