Throughout a current KENS 5 look, Jones stated she’s excited in regards to the conferences and hopes the tour will strengthen financial, cultural and diplomatic ties with San Antonio’s largest worldwide buying and selling companion.

“Clearly, Mexico is considered one of our nation’s key companions, and our metropolis has a really particular historical past — culturally, economically, traditionally — with Mexico,” Jones instructed the TV station. “I’ll spend most of my time in Mexico Metropolis, participating with the leaders there and largely centered on commerce. I feel, once more, actually, it’s these financial ties that we are able to always remember about. These are so, so important.”

Jones is anticipated to return to San Antonio on Thursday.
