Simply weeks into her new job, San Antonio Metropolis Councilwoman Ivalis Meza Gonzalez was arrested for allegedly driving whereas intoxicated Thursday night, in accordance with Bexar County Central Justice of the Peace arrest information.
She was arrested at 11:25 p.m. Thursday and launched on a $1,000 bond.
Meza Gonzalez was sworn in final month to signify District 8 on town’s Northwest Aspect after she gained a runoff election.
She launched an announcement in regards to the arrest on Friday afternoon.
