The funding announcement comes as reviews of decreased federal and native funding for nonprofits, public well being efforts and cuts to Medicaid.

Along with its grant help, MHM operates two well being and wellness facilities in San Antonio serving low-income residents and 9 Wesley Nurse program websites.

The group introduced final fall the American Most cancers Society Methodist Healthcare Ministries Hope Lodge, free lodging for most cancers sufferers and caregivers touring to San Antonio for care, is anticipated to open later this yr.
