The Esperanza Peace and Justice Heart will have fun the grand opening this Saturday of the Museo del Westside, the primary Mexican American museum in San Antonio targeted on the preservation of the storied tradition and historical past of los angeles gente del West Facet.
Beginning with the common-or-garden framework of Ruben’s Ice Home — a beloved watering gap and neighborhood gathering place till its 1987 closure — activists, historians and residents joined forces to analysis and purchase a group of images and ephemera consultant of the neighborhood.
