A brand new bar known as The Hush Room has quietly opened in Stone Oak, and it’s serving up Prohibition-era vibes with a contemporary twist.

Suppose plush leather-based couches, a moody Nineteen Twenties-inspired inside and cocktails that virtually beg to be sipped in secret. Inside, it’s all speakeasy stylish, whereas the outside vibe shifts to a laid-back sports activities bar with a sprawling patio.

Vehrs informed the Present his objective for the enterprise is straightforward: give Stone Oak again a nightlife spot that truly feels price dressing up for. The founders aimed for meticulous element inside, even constructing the again bar themselves. 

“Whenever you used to go to Stone Oak, there have been loads of good bars. However now, you sometimes need to go to Southtown or the Pearl space for upscale bars or speakeasy-type lounges,” Vehrs defined. “We wished a spot the place individuals would really wish to go to spend cash on good drinks in Stone Oak.”

At present, the one different bars within the Stone Oak space boasting equally refined or speakeasy-type vibes are Books: A Whiskey Society and The Inexperienced Lantern. Arsenal, a speakeasy from the house owners of Pastiche positioned in plain sight in Faucet Rack Social, is a bit additional down U.S. Freeway 281. 

The Hush Room will likely be open seven days every week, together with 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday via Saturday and noon-2 a.m. Sundays.
