San Antonio Worldwide lands direct flights to Toronto, Canada

Air Canada will launch nonstop flight service from San Antonio Worldwide Airport to Ontario’s Toronto Pearson Worldwide Airport subsequent spring, metropolis officers stated Monday.

Beginning in Might, Air Canada will function the service thrice weekly on Airbus A220 plane. The airline final operated out of San Antonio in 2019.

The San Antonio departures will happen each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with flights taking off at 10:30 a.m. and touchdown in Toronto at roughly 3:07 p.m.

Canadian departures to San Antonio will happen each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:20 p.m. with arrivals at roughly 9 p.m.

San Antonio Director of Airports Jesus Saenz stated in an emailed assertion that the brand new flights are the results of native aviation officers advocating for nonstop flights from Air Canada.

The brand new route is barely the tenth worldwide nonstop flight for San Antonio Worldwide, and the opposite 9 hook up with locations in Mexico.
