San Antonio nonprofit goals to attach Black youth with nature

Based in 2019, San Antonio nonprofit Black Exterior is concentrated on connecting Black youth with the outside.

Brothers with the Land is a smaller boys camp that pairs 15 boys with mentors. The group goes fly fishing, tenting and different out of doors actions. Black Exterior can also be creating a 3rd program, Homecoming, to attach Black adults and households to nature.

The nonprofit has served over 600 Black youth and visited 16 state and nationwide parks since its inception, in accordance with its web site.
