Vacation lights, native makers, zines and a river parade

Get a head begin on the vacations with handmade crafts on the Esperanza Peace and Justice Heart’s thirty fifth Annual Worldwide Mercado de Paz/Peace Market. The festive enjoyable begins Friday at 10 a.m. with music by the Conjunto Heritage Taller, The Overseas Arm and Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson and others, and the market runs by Sunday.

The San Antonio Botanical Backyard gives an early glimpse of vacation lights with Illuminate, a backyard filled with larger-than-life gentle sculptures. Ticketed entry instances run each half-hour from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday’s opening night time.

100 thousand vacation lights will illuminate the forty third Annual Ford Vacation River Parade on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with 27 illuminated floats and 5 leisure floats to escort Santa and Mrs. Claus alongside the river. This 12 months’s Toy Field Adventures theme guarantees enjoyable for the entire household. Tickets vary from $24 to $69.
