A brand new eating occasion will deliver elevated food and drinks to an intimate setting overlooking the San Antonio River.
The inaugural High Shelf will happen Saturday, Sept. 28 on the Briscoe Western Artwork Museum’s Jack Guenther Pavilion. The Present-sponsored eating expertise will provide a night of first-class food and drinks from space cooks and distillers.
The riverfront setting — together with string lights, family-style seating, reside music and a curated DJ set — is designed to evoke an ambiance of festivity, neighborhood and delicacies, in keeping with organizers.
High Shelf will pair craft cocktails, beer and wine with distinctive dishes from native cooks. Ten collaborating eating places will serve up creations encompassing quite a lot of cuisines, every thoughtfully paired with spirits from Garrison Brothers Bourbon and Carabuena Tequila.
Among the eating places collaborating in High Shelf embrace Halcyon Southtown, Full Items Diner, Palomar Comida & Cantina, The River’s Edge and Míra Matcha, with extra to come back.
Visitors can count on a menu that spans from brisket mini-tacos paired with margaritas to duck-and-prosciutto Monte Cristo sandwiches accompanied by Blackberry Lemondrop cocktails.
Tickets run $125 per individual and can be found on-line. Nevertheless, the occasion does have restricted capability, so early buy is beneficial.
