Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. is closing its San Antonio manufacturing facility and shedding 138 staff, based on a state submitting.

The layoffs are anticipated to happen Oct. 5, officers mentioned in a discover filed with the Texas Workforce Fee.

The meals firm, a subsidiary of Mexico-based Grupo Bimbo, produces baked items beneath a wide range of client manufacturers, together with Sara Lee, Mrs. Baird’s and Entenmann’s.
