The Metropolis of San Antonio’s Division of Arts & Tradition has introduced the completion of Orgullo Tejano (Tejano Satisfaction) installations by San Antonio artist Luis Lopez. Impressed by the musical legacy of Historic Outdated Freeway 90, the principle art work (positioned close to the intersection of Outdated Freeway 90 and SW 37 St.) depicts a 14-foot-tall mosaic and metal accordion participant with the accordion as an extension of the sculpture’s physique.
