Hulu’s new meals documentary delves into the fiery world of chili peppers and the folks obsessive about them.

San Antonio-founded restaurant chain Church’s Texas Hen is featured in a brand new documentary collection about people who find themselves loopy for capsaicin.
Superhot: The Spicy World of Pepper Individuals debuted Jan. 22 as a 10-episode collection on streaming service Hulu. The present examines the world of individuals obsessive about sizzling peppers, promising to go “deep right into a subculture fueled by spice: from the elite growers who try to create new superhots to the chili eaters who chase the endorphin rush of consuming them,” in response to its producers.

Church’s is launched in episodes eight and 9 because the collection follows the corporate’s hunt for the right peck of pepper growers to assist it produce a signature spicy dipping sauce that is scheduled to debut in April.

“Our collection is all concerning the world of superhot and the individuals who dwell for warmth. As we had been filming, we realized that Church’s Texas Hen started the hunt for his or her subsequent signature spicy sauce, and instantly, we knew we wanted to movie all of it,” Superhot Government Producer and Director Mind Skope stated in a press assertion.

Though Church’s was born in San Antonio in 1952 and operated right here for many years, it is now headquartered in Atlanta.
