The Guadalupe Celebrates Day of the Useless
The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Middle is celebrating Día de Los Muertos with a free dance manufacturing La Vida de los Muertos, on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m. and a month-long stay altar exhibition, starting on Nov. 2, celebrating life and honoring the departed.
Its free dance manufacturing of La Vida de los Muertos – A Día de los Muertos Neighborhood Celebration will probably be held at Plaza Guadalupe, 1327 Guadalupe St. The general public is inspired to convey their very own garden chairs to take pleasure in this outside, free efficiency.The dance efficiency is free, funded by the Metropolis of San Antonio Division of Arts and Tradition, Texas Fee on the Arts, H-E-B and AARP.

PUBLIC DISPLAY OF ALTARS ON DISPLAY AT GALERIA GUADALUPE THROUGH NOVEMBER 2023

A guide signing and reception will happen with books out there for buy. The night is hosted by Tony Diaz, El Librotraficante, Literary Curator of the Latino Bookstore.

Launch of the 2024 Poster Contest Official Opening
The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Middle is proud to announce the official opening of the forty second Annual Tejano Conjunto Pageant en San Antonio 2024 Poster Contest. The favored poster contest returns with an award for the competition winner of $2,000, and is open to each skilled designers and artists and college students. The highest prize winner’s poster will probably be used for all competition advertising and marketing supplies for the Tejano Conjunto Pageant en San Antonio, scheduled for Could 15-19, 2024.
