The Alamo Vestry will reopen to the general public beginning Wednesday, Sept.13.

The Alamo is reopening its vestry after virtually seven years of closure.

Starting Sept. 13, guests can can delve into the historical past of the Alamo Church Vestry and embark on an immersive journey by means of time. 

A vestry is often a room inside a church the place a priest will put together for a service.

The revitalized exhibit will take guests by means of the vestry’s evolution throughout centuries, in accordance with Alamo Belief officers. The undertaking contains interpretive panels, media projections, reader rails and a soundscape, all of which lead guests by means of the house’s storied existence.
