John Cena is among the many celebrities who’s made the soar from the wrestling ring to the massive display screen.

The professional wrestler often known as “The Face of the WWE” and bevy of different nicknames will return to the Alamo Metropolis ring this October.

John Cena, a 16-time WWE champion turned film star, will reunite as soon as once more with the wrestling franchise for a world SmackDown tour. He acknowledged his return final week through X, the social media platform beforehand often known as Twitter.

“Can not wait to reunite with the @WWE household stay on #Smackdown! Particularly excited to fulfill the #WWE Universe in India and wrestle for the FIRST TIME EVER in 🇮🇳! The time is NOW…. C U all VERY quickly!!! @WWE @WWEIndia,” the tweet reads.

The 46-year-old celebrity will return to San Antonio on  for a taping of Friday Evening SmackDown on Friday, Oct. 20, at San Antonio’s AT&T Heart, quickly to be renamed the Frost Financial institution Heart. 

The final time San Antonio residents noticed Cena within the ring was through the 2017 Royal Rumble, held on the Alamodome. Cena received his sixteenth WWE Championship at that bout.
